Bad hotel and bad stuff, not to recomend! Horrible hotel! Allt, ett hemskt hotell som vi inte förstår hur ni kan rekomendera!! Hemskt otrevlig front desk personal, aggresiva!! Dålig frukost, inte buffe utan en kontinental frukost! Så dåligt att vi var tvungna att byta hotell! Detta är ett 2 stjärnigt hotell absolut inte 4 stjärnigt!! Dålig standrad på hotellet!

The architecture, original furniture pieces and tapestries are fantastic. Please please be faithful to the original design, do not change it! All the original fixtures and fittings are beautiful. Hand- blown glass light fittings, Portuguese marble top coffee tables, tapestries and divine furniture. The pool and landscaped garden are extremely well kept and again beautifully designed.
Breakfast was average. I think trying to introduce local Portuguese cuisine would be far more exciting: Fresh pressed cheese, olives, Portuguese bread, presunto, pastel de nata, bolo de arroz etc..

The rudeness of the duty manager. The ridiculaours lift system, the rooms were spartan and the price was very high.

We really loved our stay here, especially the spacious rooms and the gorgeous outdoor pool that was just perfect for relaxing after a beach day. It's a treat having access to both the sun terrace and the well-kept gardens for some quiet downtime. The only downside was the noise from nearby guests, but it didn't ruin our experience at all. 🌞

I liked the swimming pools, particularly the indoor one. The bedroom was a good size.
It is very old fashioned and quite strnge to get down to the beach.

The view of the hotel is very nice, it is near the beach.
The turkish bath and the inside swimming pool are disasters, turkishbath smells horrible and it is very cold like a refrigirator. The bed of the room is very uncomfortable, I have still pain in my back. This hotel does not deserve 4 star, even a star. It is a very old hotel. They have to rebuild the hotel. I do not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Fine views and great location
The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to good dining options. I appreciated the indoor pool, a welcome retreat after a day of exploring.
